Ok, it's Summer Time in Florida so NO dry spell here, Not talking about the weather kind of dry spell. My good friend suggested I write about MY dry spell in terms of well...um...my dating life. As mentioned before I am a single 30-year old and it's true it has been a while since I have been out on a date let alone in a relationship. As my friend pointed out this morning "Barry I've known you for a year and you have not been out on a date yet..lol". Nice. While the fact that I act like it does not bother me, some days yes, other days no. While I stay VERY busy with things now I wonder HOW would I make time for that someone to come in my life, BUT on the other hand I miss the companionship and...well...you know that other three letter word. I have and do on occasions online dating and while it's good, it's like a numbers game, you'll send tons of emails and respond to TONS of profiles and maybe one or two will bite and you will go on one date that is NOT so good.
Oh well, I know everything happens in a time, in a place, as it's suppose to happen. LOTS of my friends will be tying the knot this year and as I hear about that or new relationships starting I wonder, ok, Am I next? Until then I am trying to be a content single white 30-year old male going through a dry spell.
