Hanging with Uncle Barry

Yesterday I went to the movies and saw Toy Story 3. I won't give away anything for those who plan on seeing it but I will say I was surprised at some of the more serious parts that I have ever seen in a Toy Story Movie. Will I see it again? Probably not. Now I went to the movies with my friend Shannon and her daughter Isabella who calls me "Uncle Barry", you gotta love it. Isabella is 4 going on 12, you never know what the kid will say but I can assure you will be laughing after she speaks. Case in point ask her to say french fries for you. lol, She was so pumped about this movie, so while I went to get myself some snacks before the movie, yes call me a cheapskate( I am NOT paying 100 bucks for movie snacks) I noticed a display of Toy Story stuff at a dollar store. Ok, Toy Story stuff, dollar store= spoil this 4 year old. Now I had told her after the movie was over Uncle Barry had a surprise for her, so of course she could not wait to get outside to the car. For 3 bucks a Toy Story Pail and Shovel, Toy Story Stickers and a Puzzle. Not bad, and the best part was watching her grin from ear to ear when I gave her the stuff. Seeing the glow in this kids eye, watching the excitement takes me back in time and brings out the kid in me and makes me grin from ear to ear to have a 4 year old call me "Uncle Barry".
